Last week we started our new and amazing tour to the south! We asked the first group that joined us to leave us some coments and opinions. We trully believe that your opinion is important. Vittorio Fiorani, thanks for this!
" We decided to join the tour organized by the hostel in the south of Lisbon, Arrabida, because there were places that we didn't heard before and this made us really interested about that.
At the beginning, we went to a really cool place in the middle of nature, where we visit the refuge of the donkeys and the typical mill craft of the area. Riding donkeys and cook the famous bread of that region was extremely interesting, and make we felt really in contact with nature and with the local tradition.
After that we went to a famous winery of the region, where we had the possibility to visit and understand how they make wine, to see some really interesting work of art of the collection of the owner of the winery and have a tasting of the wines produced.
At this point we went to have lunch in a restaurant near the ocean, eating the typical sardinhas with a very nice view of the village.
Then we had some relaxing time in one of the best beach we ever saw before. The way to arrive there was not so easy, but the place is amazing.
On the way back to the hostel, we had the possibility to see some incredible view, where the mountain ends into the ocean, simply breathtaking.
That one was our last day in Lisbon, an amazing city that I personally can't wait to visit again, and we couldn't spend it in a better way.
The organization of this tour made by the guys of the hostel was perfect. The idea of them was to show people the most authentic part of the area, a part that isn't really famous but amazing, and I think that a wonderful thing to do to promote the region.
I sincerely would like to say GRAZIE, to Joao and all the guys and girls of the hostel. We really enjoy to stay there and we are really proud of being the first group that had the possibility to join the amazing tour of Arrabida. "
Best regards. Vittorio Fiorani, Italy.
